• To further improve the current situation, wepropose the following: – Establish specializedmedical courts to ensure expert judicialprocesses, – Standardize compensation amountsto reduce uncertainty, – Make alternative disputeresolution methods like arbitration andmediation mandatory, – Strengthen informedconsent procedures with language support, -Create compensation funds to avoid individualvictimization of physicians, – Enact acomprehensive and accessible Medical LiabilityLaw by updating existing regulations.
Conclusion
• As of today, thanks to public policies, Turkey hasmade great strides in healthcare and has becomeone of the world leaders in health tourism.However, to sustain this success, it is essential tostrike a balance between legal safety and thesupport of healthcare professionals.
